Staying nimble in today’s world is hard. But Stay Nimble? They’re in the business of making it possible for individuals, teams, and entire organisations. When they came to me for a rebrand, the challenge was clear: create an identity that mirrors their innovative tools and deeply human coaching, without losing the trust of the 18,000 people they’d already helped.

The Problem

Their old branding was comfortable but forgettable—like a default system font. It worked, but it didn’t say anything. Stay Nimble had evolved, and their visual identity needed to reflect that. They weren’t just career coaches; they were equal parts strategist and cheerleader, with a growing suite of B2B tools. The new brand had to bridge those worlds: approachable yet sharp, scalable yet personal.

The Work

We started with messaging that felt like a conversation—lines like “Rediscover your ambition” and “Leaders aren’t born, they’re coached” became the backbone of the brand. They weren’t just taglines; they were promises.

Then came the visuals. After exploring routes from minimalist to wildly abstract, we landed on a crisp, slab-serif wordmark—professional enough for corporate partners, warm enough for someone navigating a career change. The palette? Bright, optimistic hues (think coral, fern, and a cheeky highlighter green) with no dark shades in sight. Typography mixed the modern Space Grotesk with the timeless Young Serif, a nod to their library of articles and lessons.

But the real puzzle was imagery. “How do you balance tech and humanity?” one of their coaches asked. The answer: illustrations with personality. Playful but not childish, smart but not sterile—a visual language as dynamic as Stay Nimble itself.
