I'm Matty, a designer, illustrator, and creative partner for brands with vision. At the heart of my work is a deep fascination with visual storytelling and the craft required to bring a captivating narrative to life.
For me, design is a process of exploring different techniques — from hand-drawn illustration to precise typography — to create a visual language that can transform a great idea into an unforgettable brand.
My professional journey began in Sydney and eventually brought me to London, where I co-founded the branding agency Thunderclap. As Creative Director for five years, I had the opportunity to lead brand strategy and design projects, learning how to blend bold imagery with effective, strategic thinking.
Today, I work as an independent designer, which allows me to foster the close, collaborative partnerships I truly value. I dive into every creative challenge headfirst, working with ambitious clients to elevate their vision and tell a story that connects with their audience.
